Delaware National Enduro

This is me exiting the famous sluice section of the course. Nothing like filling your boots with very cold water.

Here's the story....
I rode the Delaware Enduro for the second time this past October 31, 1999. I really enjoyed the ride. The weather was great and my bike ran good. The only problems I had were with my chase crew. It seems the directions the club gave out were a little out-dated so my crew failed to reach any of the gas stops prior to my arrival. I was able to scrounge gas when needed but I was out of water all day. Except for a flat tire on the last two miles, my KTM 250 EXC was flawless. I'm still waiting to find out what my final standing was. The rider who finished 10th in the 250 C class had a score of 175 points. I scored 184 points so I feel pretty good for my third enduro.
